Career Opportunities

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with employees at The Axia Institute | Delivering Value Chain Solutions® (msu.edu) and faculty at Michigan State University providing value chain analysis for Axia’s research efforts. This position offers in-person work experience, requiring the successful candidate to work on-site at the facility in Midland approximately 32 hours per week.

This position offers the opportunity to:

  • Provide project support around the technological and economic feasibility of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) projects for supply chain visibility
  • Organize and complete project assignments
  • Conduct presentations and workshops
  • Create and maintain research and project records
  • Interview and prepare reports
  • Manage social media channels
  • Assist with the planning of the Axia Institute’s Annual Summit

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate must be actively enrolled in college courses that count towards the completion of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (SCM), Engineering, or Packaging, and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Desired Qualifications

Demonstration of the following attributes is preferred: Self-starter, communicates and works well with others, eagerness to learn, pays close attention to detail, ability to prioritize, follows through on tasks.
